WELCOME TO LAVDAC ART

LAVDAC (Patrick Steenvoort, Utrecht, 1969, The Netherlands) is an autodidact artist.

At a young age he allready starts drawing (both figurative and abstract), after which swiftly follow other disciplines of art such as writing, painting, photographing and etching.
Fromof the middle eighties LAVDAC assists various professional artists like Johan Goedhart, Ad Arma, Joyce Bloem, Chico McMurtie en Gerry van der Velden.
Also solo LAVDAC enters into the spotlight, like in the middle nineties in Het Stroomhuis in Neerijnen, The Netherlands with the performance; The rat in my dream.
At the end of the nineties LAVDAC is officially born, a name which stands for Literary Alchemist Of The (Van De in dutch) Abstract Communication.
In the beginning of December 2006 Lavdac's weblog comes online, a platform where LAVDAC publishes stories, points of vieuw, poems and drawings.
In the spring of 2008 follows lavdac.mmused.com, a digital studio wherein LAVDAC displays a renewing artform in which he skilled himself during the last decade: old school drawings edited with professional computer software.
